Codarts University of Arts

Dear Sir or Madam,
By this letter I am given the opportunity to introduce myself and furthermore state and explain my interest in being enrolled in the “Pop” Bachelor Program at the Codarts University of Arts.
I am Stamatis, a guitarist, songwriter and vocalist aged 24, aspiring to lead a life of constant musical creation and performance. I can recall myself as a child being infatuated by the music of classic rock bands (Pink Floyd, Rainbow, Led zeppelin etc) and blues artists (Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, Muddy Waters), tunes that along with classical music were often played in my house. At the age of nine I was already a dedicated, yet self-taught explorer of the wondrous world of the electric guitar, more than sure that this would be a long journey. It is now 13 years that I have never stopped practicing, improvising and composing with inextinguishable eagerness to broaden my music conception and skills.
Codarts University is beyond any doubt an Educational Institution of high prestige and quality, enjoying international reputation and promoting actively the study of art through innovative courses. The Pop Bachelor Program is a perfectly suitable and definitely desirable place for my studies, as its focus on actionable skills, stage experience, songwriting and production meets my interests to a great extent. I strongly believe that the educational outgrowth would act as a catalyst to my future prospects and goals, fortifying my composing, guitar and singing skills and providing me with a meaningful and life-shaping experience.
As it is obvious, the benefits from being a member of the Codarts society are numerous and directly relevant to my professional and artistic aspirations. Thus, I would be really grateful if I would be given this advantageous educational opportunity.

Sincerely yours,
Stamatis Syrakos
